Join Kelly Welch, a Crane Clan musician from Treaty Nine
territory for a Drumming circle in the lounge to resonate Truth and Reconciliation
day.
This program is open to all, while centering Indigenous
voices.
The Drumming circle will be held in the lounge. It will be opened opened with a
Smudging Ceremony with time and space for sharing the importance and relevance of Medicine within the context of Truth and Reconciliation.
Participants are welcome to bring their own shakers or rattlers
if they have them, some will also be available for use in the program. This is
a program oriented for adults, but children are welcome to attend with parents
and caregivers.
