Loss
changes your life, and the grief experience is different for each person.
Grief is more complicated when the death is sudden and there has been no
opportunity to say goodbye.
This
education session will explore what grief after a suicide loss may look and
feel like. We’ll share a high-level understanding of grief and the
factors that can influence it, as well as some strategies for coping.
This session will be led by Elisa Brewer-Singh (Executive Director, Waterloo Region Suicide Prevention Council) and Melina Pearson (Outreach Coordinator, Bereaved Families of Ontario - Midwestern Region).
This program will not be recorded.
