Engineering Science Quest from the University of Waterloo empowers youth to be the change our world will need in the future by creating opportunities for them to increase confidence in their science, engineering and technology abilities. In What Goes Around Comes Around, you will dive into the basic theory of electricity in this activity. Participants will learn how to build a simple series electrical circuit using a motor in order to build a Ferris wheel! Participants will investigate the flow of electrons, sources and loads. Participants will engage in this design and build and learn more about the engineering design.
This program includes a FREE supply kit (AA batteries not included), instruction booklet and ESQ video so that you can complete this activity at home during April Break. Kits can be picked up at Central Library starting on Tuesday, April 6. The link to the video will be shared by email on Monday, April 12 by 1:00 pm. You can complete the project any time you want.
