Interested in trying yoga for
the first time or continuing your yoga journey? Join us for this weekly session
for teens! Youth yoga is a healthy way to connect with your breath and move
your body. Many of the techniques offered can positively affect your mood and
provide tools for coping with stress in everyday life. We will discuss topics
such as mindful speech, body awareness and breathing as a tool for coping with
and moving through heavy emotions.
Marie-Louise is passionate about community, health and wellbeing. She
has been teaching various therapeutic styles of yoga since 2015 in martial arts
studios, boxing gyms, yoga studios and now virtually from her home. As a
recreational kickboxer for 9 years, Marie-Louise worked her physical body hard
and pushed her limits on a regular basis. She was proud of her physical
strength and endurance and was also experiencing restriction and discomfort
frequently, despite regular stretching. Marie-Louise was drawn to find something
therapeutic to compliment her hobbies.
Registration begins on Monday, March 15 for the
entire 4 week series.
