The colour of a person's skin is not ornate. Race plays a part in how a person perceives the self, and how society perceives a person. As writers we must 'write-in' the race of all our characters to acknowledge the impact race has on the lives of Black, Indigenous, and other readers of colour. Come join this four week writing craft workshop and learn the ins and outs, the how-tos and how-not-tos in order to challenge ourselves to uplift the experiences of all our readers through validation and racial equity.
