Event Details

Manon Rhéaume was the first and only woman to play in an NHL game! Manon was also a member of Team Canada during the 1998 Olympics and multiple World Championships teams. Angie Bullaro, an actor and producer, heard this story and knew it needed to be told! Angie wrote the picture book, Breaking the Ice: The True Story of the First Woman to Play in the National Hockey League which was published in October of 2020. Angie is a passionate storyteller who believes in the importance of both stories and moving our bodies!

Join us to hear a reading from the book, an interview with both Angie and Manon plus we will get up and moving! Manon and Angie will lead us in some fun, no equipment required, exercises you can do right in your home!

This event is for all ages.
