To celebrate Waste Reduction Week, we’ve invited the Region of
Waterloo Waste Management to chat with us about household waste. Your efforts
matter more than you might think! Discover the steps you can take to make
managing and even reducing your household waste easier and more effective.
About our speaker, Veronica Naas, OCT, Hons. BA:
Veronica is the Coordinator, Communications &
Promotion for the Region of Waterloo Waste Management Division. She is in
charge of school and public education and social media channels. She also
has been teaching German for over 12 years with the Waterloo Region District
School Board. Veronica has a passion for learning with a post graduate degree
in Marketing Management from Sheridan College and an honours degree in English
Language and Literature from Wilfrid Laurier University. For almost 20 years Veronica
has been a volunteer of the Kitchener Public Library, mainly as a Reading
Buddy. Her energy and devotion to education radiates throughout her work and
personal life. Veronica believes in the power of one – what you do truly does
matter!
