September 21-25 is Science Literacy Week. To celebrate, we've partnered with Engineering Science Quest from the University of Waterloo to offer fun virtual hands-on learning activities all week long! In each program, you will receive a supply kit and video link that you can watch at any time that explores a cool topic and shows you how to make a fun project. For this program, you will learn about the ecosystems and what the world needs in order to sustain life. We will use this knowledge to create a terrarium in a jar which can be sealed off and still survive, because it will have everything an ecosystem needs to survive. After you register for the program, you can pick up your supply kit at Central Library during opening hours. The video link will be emailed to you by 3:30 pm on the day of the program.
