Good Morning Pilates - The Pilates method is a unique form of physical conditioning that enhances strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. When Pilates is executed properly, a deep connection between the body and the mind is unified; therefore, you learn how to work with your body rather than against it. Pilates is a core strengthening workout that is a great physical option for everyone. This session will be approximately 45 minutes long and is appropriate for an introductory level (accommodations can be made throughout the session).
Donna Bender is the Founder and Director of Centre Stage Dance Studio, est. 1986. She has been a fully certified Pilates Instructor in Matwork and Equipment through the Physicalmind Institute since 2003. She is a certified teacher in The Paula Morgan Technique, an Advanced Member and Examiner for the Society of Russian Ballet and a Full Stage Member of the Canadian Dance Teachers Association. Donna continues to teach group Pilates classes and private sessions to a wide range of clientele in the K-W area. She is passionate about improving the quality of life of her clients through these physical practices and looks forward to being a part of the KPL community's health and wellness program.
