Myths and Facts  on Recycling

Consumer product materials and the recycling industry are rapidly changing. There are many misconceptions  and urban myths about what is happening with recycling. Kathleen Barsoum from Waste Management, Region of Waterloo will show you the facts on how waste is handled here in our area, how recycling correctly positively  impacts the environment, and will provide a  blue box refresher. In this session, you will learn all about the life-cycle of plastic, and ensure you are recycling properly.

Kathleen lives in Waterloo, is a business grad from Laurier, and with five children, she knows waste!   Come join her to  “Talk Trash” for a lively presentation ,  packed full of new and surprisingly  interesting trash tips.
