How to we plant and maintain healthy trees? Join us to debunk tree myths learn about tree care.

What does a tree need to stay healthy? As with anything, the context is key. This webinar will address our trees from the perspective of:

Understanding the surrounding environment

  • Evaluating soil and light conditions

Selecting and Planting Healthy Trees

  • Some of the less apparent but important details that are overlooked

Making trees feel at home

  • Common myths and best practices to look after your tree(s) and make your yards healthy, identifying and managing tree stresses, and how to get involved in stewarding the urban forest

Those attending this presentation will gain a greater understanding of how to support a healthier urban forest and how simple and cost effective it can be. There will be some take home points which can be immediately implemented in your yard.
