Event Details

Grief looks and feels different for everyone. There are no checklists to complete or a finish line to cross. There are no stages. Grief is a journey that everyone will travel at some point in their lives. Participate in a session with Melina Pearson the Outreach Coordinator with the Bereaved Families of Ontario - Midwestern Region.

Dealth by Substance Use and Community Impact explores how deaths by substance use are often traumatic for those affected. There can be prejudice and stigma which can lead to anger, guilt and isolation. This session will provide an understanding on the impact of this type of death, as well as how the community is impacted and how support can be offered.
