For the month
of May we are partnering with Donna Bender of Centre Stage Dance
Good Morning Pilates - The Pilates method is a unique form of physical conditioning that enhances strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. When Pilates is executed properly, a deep connection between the body and the mind is unified; therefore, you learn how to work with your body rather than against it. Pilates is a core strengthening workout that is a great physical option for everyone. This session will be approximately 45 minutes long.
Donna Bender is the Founder and Director of Centre Stage Dance Studio, est. 1986. She has been a fully certified Pilates Instructor in Matwork and Equipment through the Physicalmind Institute since 2003. She is a certified teacher in The Paula Morgan Technique, an Advanced Member and Examiner for the Society of Russian Ballet and a Full Stage Member of the Canadian Dance Teachers Association. Donna continues to teach group Pilates classes and private sessions to a wide range of clientele in the K-W area. She is passionate about improving the quality of life of her clients through these physical practices and looks forward to being a part of the KPL community's health and wellness program.
