Event Details

1 in 10 people who experience periods live with endometriosis. As we recognize March as Endometriosis Awareness Month, we invite you (and your loved ones) to join us for a night of conversation. In partnership with Diva International Inc., and their DivaCares program, this free event will feature an endometriosis panel, endo-friendly refreshments, door prizes, and resources. 

The knowledgeable panelists will include: 

Keri Martin Vrbanac: Registered physiotherapist/clinic owner- A Body in Motion Rehabilitation Keri has been a Registered Physiotherapist since 1997 when she graduated with distinction from the University of Toronto. In 2013, Keri discovered her passion for Pelvic Physiotherapy and now supports children with pediatric incontinence, pre-natal and post-natal clientele as well as people suffering with pelvic pain as a result of bladder or bowel difficulties, interstitial cystitis, prostatitis, mastitis and breast inflammatory conditions. When not at work, Keri cherishes time spent with her family and friends, reading and fitness.

Alexandra Camara – @yellowbowsxo Alexandra has suffered with endometriosis since the early age of 7. She managed her day-to-day life and carried on. Once her disease started to affect her lungs is when she took to social media, to find others just like her. Alexandra uses @yellowbowsxo as a platform to create awareness and education around a disease that affects so many worldwide. She continues to share her personal life with her husband and two boys and is committed to keeping the conversation around endometriosis front and centre.

Stacey Jacobs - Sexual Health and Community Educator

Stacey Jacobs has been a Sexual Health Educator, Writer and Speaker for nearly two decades. She has personally educated over 10,000 people in her community, including children, youth and adults. Stacey is currently an instructor at the University of Waterloo in the Sexuality, Marriage and Family Studies program. Her favourite topics to discuss include vulvas, vaginas, consent, menstruation and menopause.

Stacey found out she had endometriosis in 1999.


Laura Diebolt - The Endometriosis Network of Canada

Laura has been a passionate advocate for people with endometriosis since shortly after her own diagnosis. She has connected with thousands of people living with endometriosis across Canada through her work with The Endometriosis Network Canada, first as an administrator of their online support group, and since 2017, also as a member of the Board of Directors.
