'What Kind of Tree Is That?' Tree Identification Workshop

Presented by Reep Green Solutions.  From Sugar Maples to Honey Locusts and everything in-between, this workshop will give you an appreciation of the variety of trees in our urban landscape. Learn about some of the common tree species found in Ontario and the basics for how to tell them apart. The workshop will cover what to look for in leaves, bark, buds, or other hints that will help you to hone your tree identifying skills. You will also be introduced to some of the invasive species that are competing with our native trees.

After the presentation, join us for a walk around the neighbourhood and see how many trees you can pick out based on your newfound knowledge!
