Event Details

Heather Young, Social worker and Child Sleep Consultant with Good Night Sleep Site Waterloo, will be discussing all things sleep - for adults!  We are in the midst of an epidemic of sleep deprivation.  In our current high-tech society, there is an underlying expectation that we are always “on” and a misguided idea that sleep is a luxury. But not getting enough sleep can impact our physical, mental and emotional health with sometimes disastrous effects. Heather will discuss the effects of sleep deprivation and outline practical tools you can use to get a better night’s sleep tonight.  Join us for this engaging discussion to improve your overall health with great sleep.

Heather is a Mom, Registered Social Worker and Certified Child Sleep Consultant with Good Night Sleep Site Waterloo.  She works alongside families to create and implement customized plans to help their children fall in love with bedtime and sleep soundly throughout the night. She believes in working with parents so they feel empowered and confident in a plan that best fits with their own parenting style and beliefs.  She also leads workshops, sleep clinics, and events for people of ALL ages to ensure everyone can get the best sleep possible.  She is passionate about the benefits of healthy sleep habits for the health of the family and loves the opportunity to help families achieve their own goals for sleep.
