From an
early age, John Marshall has been interested in art. On receiving a camera from
his parents, he took a great interest in photography. His enjoyment is in
photographing landscape and nature, where the changing light of the day and the
moods it creates are the foundations of his photographic images.
John is
also known for his work photographing people of all ages, nationality and
lifestyles. He enjoys photographing the people of the Mennonite Community and
preserving their lifestyle and work habits for future generations to come.
John is a
member of the Photographic Society of America. His photographs have won
numerous awards and acceptances in international and local competitions.
Our lives
are a continuous journey of new experiences and past memories. John’s search
for experiences and memories lies in the freedom to explore photography in his
journey through life.
He feels if
his photographs can assist, in some small way, others thoughts and aspirations,
he has succeeded as a photographer.
