EXHIBIT OPEN DAILY DURING REGULAR LIBRARY HOURS UNTIL FEB. 27

Jim Blomfield is a photo-artist residing in Waterloo, Ontario. He specializes in black-and-white photography, using film to capture his images and a “wet” darkroom to craft his prints. His work has appeared in several publications, and he has exhibited provincially and internationally.

Time-In/Time-Out is a study of tree stumps submerged in the Laurel Creek Reservoir in Waterloo. They have been subjected to nature’s whims and sculptural effects for some 50+ years. Time-In portrays the stumps during their time underwater, and Time-Out shows them during their brief annual respite into open air.
