Time-In/Time-Out is a study of tree stumps submerged in
the Laurel Creek Reservoir in Waterloo. They have been subjected to nature’s
whims and sculptural effects for some 50+ years. Time-In portrays the
stumps during their time underwater, and Time-Out shows them during
their brief annual respite into open air.
