Stephen Orlando captures motion through time and space into a single photograph. Using LED lights with custom color patterns and long exposure photography, he tells the story of movement. This technique reveals beautiful light trails created by paths of familiar objects like canoe paddles and violin bows. All of Stephen's photos are single exposures.
Stephen is inspired by his
background in aerodynamics, the pioneering photographic techniques of Gjon
Mili, and the large outdoor installations of Christo and Jeanne-Claude.
