Join us for this special Book Club geared towards ESL learners! In this program we have fun discussing and reading different English texts together. This program runs once a month. All newcomers are welcome.

Registration is required.

Suggested minimum CLB level is 5. Contact Kaia for help if you’re not sure if the book is the right level for you.

You need a library card to access the texts we'll be reading. If you don't have a card, you canget one online here. You will also need to visit a library location to collect a book for this program.

In October, we are discussing Red Dog by Louis de Bernieres (retold by Jennifer Bassett). We will have copies of the text available for you to pick up at the branch location of your choice after you register. Read the book, and join us for a great discussion on October 17. If there is remaining time at the end of the program, you will explore our other materials.

Red Dog is the true story of an Australian sheepdog. His life was full of excitement and adventure. He travelled all over Western Australia, and never really had an owner. But he had many, many friends, and he always knew where to go for a good meal.
