Pride Month Celebration: Makeup for Kings and Queens (In-Person)

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Event Details

Local king from the UWDragClub, Dallas Ryder, will take participants through a beginner friendly drag tutorial. Both king and queen makeup will be covered, and only minimal materials are required. By the end of this workshop participants should have a greater appreciation for the art of drag, as well as some baseline skills to start making their own art. It is suggested that participants view the pre-workshop tutorial before attending the workshop, but it is not required. Participants will receive the link to the pre-workshop tutorial after they register.
About UWDragClub: The UW Drag Club is a 5 year and running club dedicated to the art, appreciation, creation, and history of drag. Though the club is run from the University of Waterloo, members of neighboring schools and even the community are welcome to attend any drag club event- from weekly meetings, to full out drag shows! Be sure to follow us on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook at UWDragClub- also feel free to DM us to join the discord! Happy Pride, KW! ❤️
