Chef Arielle Neils hails from the land of sun, sand, and sea: Trinidad and Tobago. At age 7 she experienced her first cooking class from an international experienced caterer, teacher and Culinary Art Institute graduate and ever since fell in love with cooking. At age 15 she took possession of her grandmother’s catering company with her parents' assistance and served up to a maximum of 200 guests at a wedding. She attended her first hospitality school at age 19 then moved to Niagara on the Lake to further pursue Culinary Management at the Niagara College Food & Wine Institute. During her tenure at the college she entered and won several cooking competitions, completed her co-op at White Oaks Resort & Spa and was offered a full time position after the completion of her co-op. She relocated to Waterloo region at the end of 2013 to be closer to family and landed a job opportunity at the notorious Bhima's Warung. A couple years later, she became a Mom and commenced in the position of a Cook at Google in 2016. Chef Arielle worked her way through the ranks of Jr Sous Chef, Senior Sous Chef and was promoted to Executive Chef in 3 years with Restaurant Associates @ Google, overseeing 3 restaurant cafes where she leads a team who serves over 850 meals a day prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. She is also aligned with the Underground Flavour Group as a Private Chef and engages in other catering events. She has conducted several classes on Caribbean cuisine at Relish Cooking Studio and currently teaches basic and advanced techniques through virtual cooking classes to individuals and small groups.

Chef Arielle recommends the book The Flavor Bible by Karen Page. She adds, "I think it's a great book that will take foodies who enjoy being in the kitchen out of their comfort zone. As a Chef it has even broadened my perspective with combinations I may never have thought of."
