DIY Festival: Learn Macrame

Join Lots of Knots Canada to learn all about Macrame and make a gorgeous Macra-Weave.

This session will teach you how to create a fun, colourful, beginner friendly macra-weave (macrame weaving) wall hanging. You'll learn basic knotting and weaving techniques such as the lark's head knot, double half hitch knot and soumak weave. The finished piece measures 1 ft wide by 17 inches long.

Supplies provided.

Chantel Conlon, creator of Lots of Knots Canada, is a macrame artist/author (Mixed Fiber Macrame), content creator and fiber art supplier.  lotsofknots.ca.

This virtual program will take place via Zoom. Zoom is a video conferencing tool that allows people to meet together online. You can use Zoom on a desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device. You will receive a link to the program by email on day the prior to or the day of the program.
