"Birds are telling us we must act now to ensure our planet can sustain wildlife and people".

A study, published in Science, one of the world's leading scientific journals, in September 2019, found that the population of breeding birds in Canada and the US has dropped by nearly 30% (or 3 billion birds) since 1970.

Across the continent and beyond, numbers have plummeted, even among common species.

While there are some discouraging findings about overall bird populations in the study, there are encouraging examples of how human effort can work to bring back our birds.  Please join us as we present how each one of us can make a difference to help bring back our Songbirds.
