Britta B. is a Toronto-based spoken word performer, teaching artist, emcee and voice actor.  Most recently, Britta was recognized as a 2020 Finalist for the Toronto Arts Foundation Emerging Artist Award. Her works have been featured in print, in sound and onstage across North America in notable spheres such as the Art Gallery of Ontario, CBC Arts: Poetic License, The Walrus Talks, TEDx and The Stephen Lewis Foundation.

Join Britta B. and KPL for a spoken word poetry workshop for students in Grades 3-8. Britta will talk about her experience as a spoken word poet and give participants a chance to write their own poetry.
