The
library is a great place to find a chair/tutorial room or desk and write
anytime we’re open, but here are some library-supported dates to write alone,
but alongside and with the support of other participants.
Drop-in. No registration required.
National Novel Writing Month
(NaNoWriMo) is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing. On
November 1, participants begin working towards the goal of writing 50,000 words
by 11:59 PM on November 30. Valuing enthusiasm, determination, and a deadline,
NaNoWriMo is for anyone who has ever thought about writing a novel.
Authors
around the world, some writing for the very first time, participate in this
month-long event. There are online forums and real-life get togethers (called
write ins) all designed to help writers get their words on the page. For more
information, visit www.nanowrimo.org
and visit the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge region's forums for events taking
place locally.
