Event Details

Please join us on Wednesday, October 7 from 2-3pm for a virtual panel discussion for World Mental Health Day led by members of the Counselling Collaborative of Waterloo Region.

Discussions around mental health are looking different this year. We have a shared experience of living in a global pandemic, but the way it affects our mental health differs for us all. This panel discussion will provide a way to hear from local counsellors on several mental health topics to share their insights and knowledge on how we can care for our mental health. There will be a time for questions at the end.

Here are a few topics that will be discussed:
  • Managing fear and anxiety
  • Coping with change
  • Virtual counselling
  • Relationship tips
Panelists include:
Leslie Allaby, Interfaith Counselling Centre
Nicole Brown Faulknor, Wounds 2 Wings
Melody Leclair, Shalom Counselling
Andy Martin, Woolwich Counselling Centre
Nicole Schiener, Family Counselling Centre of Cambridge & North Dumfries
Washington Silk, KW Counselling Services
Dan Young, Carizon Family & Community Services
