Tees to Totes: a plastic-free July workshop

Susan Gentilcore of All Things Preserved is an advocate for reducing waste - particularly plastic waste - in the home. Join her live, online for a fun no-sew upcycling project: transforming a previously-loved t-shirt into a functional tote bag. You'll be able to use this bag to replace plastic grocery bags when you shop or to carry reusable water bottles and utensils when you're out, to reduce your need for plastic disposable ones. With an aim to raise awareness about waste, Susan will also show other projects you can do with the remaining pieces of t-shirt material, so they don't end up in landfill.

Materials required: an old t-shirt and a pair of scissors. That's it!
