GETTING MARRIED?

The proposal.  The ring.  The wedding plans.  It’s all very exciting and wonderful.  So many of us get caught up in the magic of this wonderful time that we forget (or simply don’t know) what the legal implications are of this life changing event.  Marriage imposes rights and obligations on both spouses. Learn about the legal consequences of marriage and whether or not entering into a formal marriage contract (colloquially known as a “pre-nup”) is right for you.  Collaborative Professionals can help couples map their plan for marriage success.  The collaborative process is particularly well adapted to assist couples address potential issues early in their relationship, which may actually enhance the health of their relationship and set up practices for discussing difficult issues in the future.

Come meet some Best4all collaborative professionals from the Collaborative Practice of Waterloo Region and learn about how collaborating now may save you from needing to negotiate the terms of a separation later.
