Event Details

Getting outside and being in nature can greatly benefit our physical, mental and emotional states and can be a powerful use of our time. Join Nature Therapy Guide, Kaitlin Powers, to learn about how time spent in nature helps you rejuvenate and be more resilient in your day-to-day life. She will share scientific findings on the benefits of spending time outdoors, examine what practices help us better reap these rewards, and offer some tips on how to fit wellness through nature into your daily life.

Kaitlin Powers is the Director and Lead Instructor for Humans in Nature Wellness Services, a small business that promotes health and wellness through nature connection and outdoor experiences. Since 2015, Kaitlin has partnered with municipalities, community groups, and conservation-minded organizations to lead hundreds of community members in nature-based wellness programs each year.
