Nature in the City: Bats in Urban Environment

With Kevin Dance. Despite population declines, these amazing creatures are still found living in our urban environment. In an effort to better understand their lives and habitat use in an urban setting, monitoring of bat populations has been taking place in and around several natural areas in Kitchener. We will discuss these on-going monitoring efforts and share some of our preliminary results.
