Don Gillmor will conduct a workshop that looks at writing autobiographical fiction and memoir writing and the increasingly fine line between the two. Don is an award-winning novelist, journalist, and children’s book author. His novels include Long Change, Mount Pleasant, and Kanata, and he has also published five books of non-fiction. Using examples from current literature and his own work, this workshop explores the best approach for a writer using material taken from his or her own life.
